At Island Clock & Watch Repair, we come across many unique and interesting timepieces. We purchase clocks, watches, and pocket watches from local customers, estate sales, auctions, and through the internet.
If a timepiece is serviced by us and sold on this site, it is guaranteed to work upon delivery and will clearly specify it is warranted in the item description. We normally receive items that are in working condition and offer them for sale in their as found condition with no warranty. If an item does not work, it will be clearly listed as such and we will ensure you understand this before purchase. These as found items will not be warranted.
All purchased timepieces are properly packaged to help prevent damage during shipment. Additionally, they will be insured with delivery confirmation. High end timepieces will be shipped via registered mail for your security as well as ours.
Washington State residents are required to pay sales tax at the rate of 8.7%
Buyer is responsible for all shipping charges, including returns.
If you have an issue with a purchased timepiece, please contact us immediately with the details of the problem. If we are unable to correct the issue over the phone, you can return the timepiece to us (If warranty provided) for free repair or receive a refund for purchase price minus shipping. We insure all shipments and pack each item properly, but this still does not completely prevent damage incurred during shipment. If your package is damaged in shipment, contact your local post office for instructions to file an insurance claim. Make sure to take pictures of the damaged box and item, keep all the original packing materials as the post office will need to inspect them.
